How to find a hotel in a particular country?

The first step you have to take is to select, on the home page of www.interhotel.net, either a region or a town where your hotel is located. To start the search, you click on the „SEARCH" button using the left mouse button. A page with hotels available in the zone you are particularly interested in will be displayed. There you may choose the system in which you want the hotels to be listed. If you want to have more detailed information about any of the hotels, click on the name of the hotel.

According to which criteria may the hotels be searched?

Once you are on the home page, you may specify location of the hotel, taking inspiration in the preferences listed on the page. This preference will be later taken into consideration during the search. In the search form you may fill in a preference of price cathegory of the hotel and also listing of the hotels found. Price cathegory of the hotels – the list of price cathegories can be achieved by clicking on the arrow next to this form. Then you may choose one price cathegory out of the whole list. The list includes following price cathegories: without distinction, cathegory A (more than 5 000 Czech crowns), cathegory B (5 000 – 3 000 Czech crowns), cathegory C (3 000 – 1 500 Czech crowns), cathegory D (1 500 – 500 Czech crowns) and cathegory E (less than 500 Czech crowns) for a double room. The list can be displayed either according to the searched criteria or in alphabetical order.

How to get detailed information about the hotels?

In case you succeeded in finding hotels according to your criteria, i.e. on the search page bellow the form containing the searched criteria there appears the list of available hotels, you may pass onto information about individual hotels by clicking on the name of a particular hotel. Thus you get on a page where you will obtain all the required details. All information is available in the language you are communicating in at the moment.

What information about the hotel do particular pages contain?

The home page of every hotel is subdivided into four sections – hotel services, photograph page, prices/discounts and reservations. Majority of general information – about hotel equipment, acessibility of the hotel, services or special leisure-time activities – are mentioned on the hotel service page.

Why do I not succeed in finding any hotel?

In case you fill in the criteria and start the search of the hotel, you get the list of the found hotels. If it does not contain any item, then there is no hotel corresponding to your criteria. In case the criteria have not been changed, i.e. the implicit setting of criteria remained unaltered, there is no hotel registered in the reservation and searching databases of interhotel.net. The offer of the hotels is being enlarged day by day, hence it is most likely that next time you will succeed with your demands.



How to book a hotel room?

In case you succeeded in finding a certain hotel in which you would like to book a room, then pass on the page of this hotel, where you will find, besides detailed information, a button „Make a reservation". Click on this button and you will enter into the reservation part of the system.

Why does the offer of rooms differ from hotel to hotel?

Among the hotels registered in the reservation database there are differences in the type of rooms and also in the hotel capacities. Most hotels can offer single and double rooms. We try to meet all the demands of our clients who search also other types of rooms, thus all available types of rooms are mentioned with each hotel.

In what way do I find whether my reservation is successful?

On all the pages of www.interhotel.net, you will find a „CURRENT STAGE OF THE RESERVATION" button. By clicking on it, you pass on the page where you are asked to type the number of your reservation. After typing this number, you will be told at what stage your request for reservation is. At any case, the result of your inquiry will be sent to you by e-mail.

What should I do if I want to cancel a reservation?

In case you find that the reservation you made will not be realised, it is essential to inform us about this fact immediately. Send an e-mail message FROM YOUR E-MAIL ADDRESS on the address book@interhotel.net and state the number of your reservation in the subject line. In case of cancelling your reservation, it is necessary to take account of the cancellation charges about which you were informed when making your hotel reservation. As soon as the message about the cancellation of your reservation is received, the possible cancellation charges will be calculated. Then you will be informed about the calculation by e-mail and you will be sent a bill for payment.



How is the reservation system protected from attacks of Internet hackers?

The reservation system interhotel.net is based on the principle of a www server. The Internet users have access to all parts of www server. However, they are only allowed to read the information, not to inscribe something new. In the reservation section, the user is protected by a so-called SSL mode, which is a form of communication between the user and the reservation system, in which all the data are encoded on the principle of a public encoding key. Either the personal data of the communicating users, or the requests for reservation can thus hardly be misused.

Why should I have the hotel registered in the reservation databases?

Every proprietor, director and manager of a hotel make an effort to attract to their hotel as many clients as possible and to offer them satisfactory services. They invest enormous sums of money to advertisement campaigns whose final effect is not at all persuasive and it often does not correspond to the investment. The reservation databases www.interhotel.net arranges for you a multilingual presentation on a renowned server perfectly accessible from most countries of the world and the whole service is free of charge. Once you are registered, the number of your clients will grow rapidly and they will have the opportunity to book their rooms in your hotel in a very simple way. You pay commission fees only for the reservations that were concluded.

How can I register my hotel in the reservation databases interhotel.net?

On the home page www.interhotel.net, you will find a reference „REGISTER YOUR HOTEL", where you get all the information about the electronic way of registration. You may add photographs of your hotel simultaneously. Sending written registration or calling represent other possibilities of making registration. By return of post, we will send you a form that you have to fill in and send back on our address with at least 5 colour photographs.

How much time does the registration process take?

This period will not exceed 7 calendar days from the moment we get the filled-in form. The presentation itself, including the mediation of reservations, will be available within 3 calendar days from the moment we receive an initialed order and the photographs.

How should I send the photos?

In case you fill in the electronic form, you can attach the photographs straight away. You can also send them by e-mail to sales@interhotel.net or by post on the address written at the bottom of the page.

What is the registration fee?

There are no fees for the „Standard" program. In this case we offer making the presentation including the photographs and translating it into three languages free of charge. However, the final effect of this system is lower than it would be in case of the „All inclusive" program. The ALL INCLUSIVE program requires a registration fee of 20 USD and an anual fee of 225 USD. Nevertheless, hand in hand with these fees there go noticeable effect of the services provided, advertising and promotion on the Internet, marketing feedback bringing information about reservations and clients, own Internet domain, e-mail boxes and other services. Both systems include a commission fee for mediating the reservation which equals to 10% of the total price. The commission fee is payable as soon as the reservation is concluded.

How do I learn that somebody wants to book a room?

We will inform you about it immediately after the Internet user has booked a room in your hotel through the reservation system. The request for reservation will be communicated to you either by phone, fax, or e-mail, depending on your choice. At the same time you will be asked to confirm the reservation.



Why do I not have correct characters on my screen?

There may be several reasons for it. The hotels registered in the databases are from different countries throughout the world where different languages are spoken and the alphabet may differ. Not all signs are universally displayable. There are languages for which several types of encoding are used. In case the browser does not display all the signs correctly, try to select different type of encoding.
